At Solent protective coatings we have invested a great deal of time and resources into training and believe that we have an excellent workforce and management team to meet all requirements. An increasing number of bridges and footbridges for the rail industry are now completely fabricated off site, where size permits. These are transported to our factories as a pre-fabricated structure for the coatings to be applied off site prior to being lifted into position on site.
Our site teams are all accredited under the Industrial Coatings Applicator Training Scheme (ICATS) as well as SSPC TrainThePainter and the Company holds CSCS Platinum status.
All work is undertaken under the supervision of an In-house ICORR Level 2 and NACE Level 3 Coating Inspectors to ensure Network Rail Paint Specification is achieved.
